Our
Story
The Free Church of Scotland (Continuing) Seminary, otherwise called the Free Church Seminary, was opened on 23 September 2003 with an inaugural public address. The Seminary was established by an Act of the General Assembly of the Free Church of Scotland (Continuing) [2003; Act XIX] to prepare men for the ministry within the denomination.
While the Seminary now provides Certificate courses to teach the Reformed Faith, the principal purpose remains the same, i.e. to train students for the ministry of the Free Church of Scotland (Continuing). However, private students are also welcome.
Our mission is to create a program of education that engages every single student in the biblical and reformed faith. There are five Lecturers, all of whom have extensive experience in the Gospel ministry. In addition, the Seminary works closely with the denomination's Training of the Ministry Committee.

The primary mode of teaching is long-distance learning.
